Frequently Asked Questions

We created Atlyss Food Co. as a weekly meal delivery service. Order online and receive delicious, locally sourced, sustainable meals delivered to your door. You can also pick up at our prep kitchen located at 5600 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston. We are not a restaurant.

We post the new menu every Saturday. You have until Tuesday at midnight to order for that following Sunday. This gives us enough prep time to have our orders for customers available by Sunday. 

 * For example, if you order on Saturday it will not be available the next day on Sunday, but the following week.* 

 You can stay in the loop by getting on our email list where we send out the new menu and send order reminders via email and text message.

We use Routific; An app that notifies our customers via text when / what time their order is expected for delivery sent out every Thursday and on Sunday so you’ll have plenty of notice to make sure you’re home for Sunday delivery. 

If you will not home for Sunday’s delivery: Please leave out a cooler with ice packs visibly for us to leave the food in. If you have an outside fridge, we can also unload it for you there. You can leave gate or garage codes in the delivery instructions box during your checkout when you make your online order.

*Note: We prefer to not leave our cooler bags with your order behind as we are a company focused on sustainability and buying new bags every week isn’t a sustainable business model. 

 ** Did we deliver glass bottles/ jars? Let us reuse them for next week by leaving them outside for us to pick up when we deliver!

We offer pick up Sunday’s from 10-2pm at our kitchen at 5600 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC. If you will be late please call or text us and we will try to wait for you. If you miss us, you can pick up your order on Tuesday from 11-2pm.

We know traveling makes it hard to stay on track and have healthy, fresh, delicious options in the car or when flying in the air. We’ve proven you can take Atlyss with you on your flight. We’ve tried it! :) We may be biased, but we’re pretty confident our fresh healthy meals will make you feel better while traveling. Let us know your plans and we can make it work!

We prepare our meals the same week it is delivered so it’s best to eat it within the week. Items like our energy bites, dips and spreads can be enjoyed for 2 weeks and soups and fritters can always be frozen and enjoyed later!

Submit your event through our online form. We need 2 weeks - 4 weeks notice to set up your dinner. Parties with more than 10 people in attendance will need 4 weeks notice. 

We offer serviced dinner parties or catering drop off. Let us know your needs! 

What’s next? We will schedule a call with you to gage what menu items you’re looking to have and to then craft the official menu for the event, organizing staffing and prepping the dishes.

A 50% deposit is requested upon booking. Once the menu is finalized, we will send the final invoice following your event. You are not billed til after your event due to needing to make adjustments according to staff hours worked on site.

Please include your restrictions and allergies in your profile so that you are only offered items that you can consume. We also note on our menu what items are Vegan, GF, Nut Free. If you have a specific concern, please feel to reach out to us via email and we can easily let you know if any of our dishes are in-compliant to your dietary needs.

Family portioned sized meals typically feed 4 people. Our single portions are designed to be portioned for one single person, however our salads for example are very large and will feed two people or offer two servings. We usually aim over rather than under.

We sell certain items at Local Jo's Natural Grocery in Mount Pleasant, SC. We also occasionally pop up at local farmer's markets, so stay tuned via our social media to find out where we will be next!
